"My work is a reflection of my environment and nature. Plants have been one of my interests since botany was part my university curriculum, I studied plants intimately for four years. Also human anatomy.

Globe patterns are the most common designs in nature. Planets, oranges, nuts, etc. I have chosen a slice of the planets to make some of the half moon shaped artworks like Blue and Red Planet. Joie de Vivre series are about places in New Zealand that have had unforgettable impressions on me. Mohaka River was the first river I fished in and fell in love.

I also try to create artworks with personality; that transmits sensations, with elements of fiction or fantasy".
