Luke Calder is a Dunedin based multi-dimensional artist who explores the notion of place, perception and broader landscapes through his 2 dimensional and 3D sculptures.
Luke’s works are strikingly modern, technically slick and beautifully capture our Earth as a world unimpeded by the distraction of man-made borders and labels. Calder’s precision and skill in detailing coastlines, land mass, tiny islands and geographical hemispheres stem from his childhood fascination with maps, topography and globes.
