"In many ways this exhibition is a “journey around my father”, from the formative years in the gym to learning sign writing skills I still employ in my art today. Following dad down high country roads to favourite fishing spots or whitebaiting at the mouth of the Clutha river. Being entrusted with his beloved dinghy “Bubbles”, a poignant moment for both of us!".
