Gabriel Moreno is an illustrator and artist based in Madrid. The Spanish-born artist is known as one of the most influential illustrators in the world of advertising, he has created covers for the Wall Street Journal, appears in Taschen’s ‘100 Illustrators’ and has been featured in Rolling Stone magazine. His illustrious clients include Fiat, Coca-Cola and Victoria’s Secret.

While his illustrations are known for their flowing black lines and splashes of colour, it is the female form which shapes Gabriel’s fine art. His work is highly aesthetic, is born viscerally and emerges from Gabriel’s obsession with the beauty of the female figure. He plays with the notion that the female form has historically been treated superficially; “exalted and admired like a porcelain vase.” His figures elude to strength and fragility in equal measures.
